MHA Annual Meeting logoRegistration is now open for the MHA Annual Membership Meeting June 26 through 28 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. The annual meeting will feature an outstanding lineup of speakers, including Joe Mull, MEd, CSP, author of Employality: How to Ignite Commitment and Keep Top Talent in the New Age of Work, and Gretchen Evans, one of the most highly decorated women in the U.S. Army and recipient of the ESPN Pat Tillman Award for Service. Panel discussions will focus on two critical topics: working with public health partners to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and championing an integrated physical and mental healthcare system.

The MHA Annual Membership Meeting also includes the popular family event with games and entertainment, the ice cream social and many more relationship-building opportunities. Registration is also open for the Links Fore Health golf outing, which underwrites the health improvement programs recognized by the MHA Health Foundation Ludwig Community Benefits Award.

Annual Meeting iconRegistration is due May 26 for the MHA Annual Membership Meeting June 28 through 30 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. Education sessions highlight tactics to address structural inequalities by leveraging data and partnerships, build diversity in healthcare leadership and workforce, and consider how to support public health infrastructure and transform workflows to bring innovative solutions to the market.

The annual meeting features many networking opportunities and two special events, the Links Fore Health golf outing fundraiser, with a fun “beat the pro” challenge on one hole, and the MHA Health Foundation silent auction. The proceeds from both events support the MHA Health Foundation Ludwig Community Benefit Awards, which are focused on the programs and services Michigan hospitals provide at low or no cost to improve the quality of health and life.

Annual Meeting iconThe MHA membership will convene in person for the MHA Annual Membership Meeting June 28 through 30 at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. The annual meeting will feature an outstanding lineup of speakers, the family event and many networking events.

During the meeting, members have a couple ways to support the MHA Health Foundation Ludwig Community Benefit Awards, which focus on programs and services Michigan hospitals provide at low or no cost to improve the quality of health and life in their communities.

Included is the Links Fore Health golf outing fundraiser and a new MHA Health Foundation silent auction. Golf outing registration and sponsorship opportunities are currently available, while the silent auction will feature several travel opportunities. All funds from each event will benefit Michigan hospitals’ community benefit programs.

Annual Meeting iconRegistration remains open for the 2023 MHA Annual Membership Meeting, scheduled June 28 through 30 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. The annual meeting will feature an outstanding lineup of healthcare experts, including Brian Castrucci, DrPH, MA, president and CEO of the deBeaumont Foundation and author of “Talking Health.” Castrucci will speak on defining public health, reframing public health assumptions and bringing data to life through storytelling.

Opportunities for sponsorship are available through May 5, including the opportunity to sponsor a hole at the Links Fore Health golf outing fundraiser. This event supports community benefit programs and services Michigan hospitals provide at low or no cost to improve the health and wellness of communities. Events like the ice cream social and the chairman’s and awards reception provide attendees ample time to network and renew relationships.

Registration Due May 27 for MHA Annual Membership Meeting

Annual Meeting iconThe registration deadline for the MHA Annual Membership Meeting is May 27. The in-person event will take place June 29, 30 and July 1 on Mackinac Island.

The mobile meeting app for the MHA Annual Membership Meeting features an updated list of attendees and sponsors and offers other essential information about the event. Members can take advantage of this timesaving and convenient tool by downloading it on a mobile device. The app can be downloaded by accessing a dedicated link with the desired device. The app is sponsored by the Michigan Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

Registration is open for the Links Fore Health golf outing, which supports health improvement initiatives led by hospitals and health systems. The outing is a nine-hole scramble, and golfers may register individually or in pairs. Prizes are given in a variety of categories. The Links Fore Health outing sponsor partner is Kitch Drutchas Wagner Valitutti & Sherbrook.
