MHA Annual Membership Meeting Includes Ways to Support Michigan Hospitals

Annual Meeting iconThe MHA membership will convene in person for the MHA Annual Membership Meeting June 28 through 30 at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. The annual meeting will feature an outstanding lineup of speakers, the family event and many networking events.

During the meeting, members have a couple ways to support the MHA Health Foundation Ludwig Community Benefit Awards, which focus on programs and services Michigan hospitals provide at low or no cost to improve the quality of health and life in their communities.

Included is the Links Fore Health golf outing fundraiser and a new MHA Health Foundation silent auction. Golf outing registration and sponsorship opportunities are currently available, while the silent auction will feature several travel opportunities. All funds from each event will benefit Michigan hospitals’ community benefit programs.

Annual Meeting iconThe MHA membership will convene in person for the MHA Annual Membership Meeting June 28 through 30 at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. The annual meeting will feature an outstanding lineup of speakers, including Alisahah Jackson, MD, president, Lloyd H. Dean Institute for Humankindness & Health Justice at CommonSpirit, and Marcus Whitney, co-founder, Jumpstart Health Investors. Jackson will speak about leveraging science and trust to accelerate health equity, while Whitney will outline partnerships among stakeholder to bring new, inclusive and innovative solutions to healthcare.

The MHA Annual Membership Meeting also includes the popular family event with games and entertainment, the ice cream social and many more relationship-building opportunities. Registration is also open for the Links Fore Health golf outing, which underwrites the health improvement programs undertaken by awardees of the MHA Health Foundation Ludwig Community Benefits Award. This year’s event also has a new silent auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime vacation packages that will raise funds to support the mission of the Ludwig Community Benefit Award.
