MHA Unemployment Compensation Client Reporting
MHA Unemployment Compensation Client Reporting strives to eliminate the burden of unemployment claims costing hospitals significant time and money. Through the data involved in an unemployment claim, the system used is built to track all critical fields employers could possibly want to review such as when the claim was filed, the maximum possible liability of that claim, the actual liability the employer pays, the separation reason for the employee, first day worked, last day worked, job title, rate of pay, and more.
Types of reports available:
- Annual Report Summary provides aggregate unemployment data for an organization over a series of calendar years. The report can be run for the organization (health system) as a whole, by a specific employer or by a specific business unit (department or division).
- Claimant Profile provides a detailed summary of an individual claim. This provides an in-depth review of one particular claim, giving a weekly breakdown of benefits charged, employment history, appellate history and claim events.
- Executive Summary Report provides an overview of an organization’s unemployment claim activity and liability during a specified timeframe. The report also provides information about unemployment claims that have been adjudicated at the administrative law judge level.
- Client Dashboard Report shares with the client their top five separation reasons resulting in unemployment claims, their historical claims count per month over the last 13 months and claim counts over the past few years.
- Unemployment Claims Summary Report presents a list of all unemployment claims with a benefit year beginning date within the requested timeframe. The list is sorted by claimant’s last name and shows basic information about each individual claim.
- Benchmark and Comparison Report is available only “by request” through a claim representative or any MHA UCP staff member. This report allows an employer to measure its unemployment claim activity and liability against several peer organizations.
- New Unemployment Claims Report presents a list of all new unemployment claims that were filed within the requested timeframe. The list is sorted by claimant’s last name and shows basic information about each individual claim.
- Unemployment Claim Charge Report allows an organization to see all claims filed or where charges/credits were received during a specified time frame allowing them to focus on all of their “active” claims but then drill down to only those with charges where the client may need to take some action.
