Three Upcoming MHA Workforce Webinars Provide Continuing Education

The MHA and other state hospital associations are hosting three workforce webinars in partnership with the Huron Consulting Group, a firm helping organizations develop future-ready leaders that can drive meaningful cultural and organizational change. Continuing medical education and continuing education credit for nurses and pharmacists is available for each webinar attended. By attending the MHA Virtual Leadership Series, participants may earn up to three (3) ACHE Qualified Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.

The webinars are scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. EST on Sept. 14, Oct. 12 and Nov. 9., focusing on transforming organizations to attract, retain and promote high-performing talent.

Wonder Drug: The Science of Serving Others, presented by Anthony Mazzarelli, MD, JD, will explain how to build positive psychology in the workplace and in personal lives, and how treating one another affects well-being and resilience. The October and November webinars focus on effective communication and conflict management and workforce attraction and engagement. Speakers Pam Beitlich, DNP, APRN, and Holly Lorenz, DNP, RN, both have more than 35 years of experience in nursing administration.

Individuals can register for $100 per login per webinar. Members with questions about the webinar series or registration for the entire series should contact Erica Leyko at the MHA.
