The deadline to enroll a trustee in the new MHA Governance Affinity Group is Friday, Dec. 22. The benefits of a well-run meeting go beyond parliamentary procedure. Proper communication and facilitation skills needed to make decisions about strategic issues drive performance and change. This program is one more tool the MHA is offering to ensure hospital stakeholders feel equipped to lead and govern.
The affinity group’s first virtual session is noon to 1:30 p.m. Jan. 23, with another session scheduled March 12. The group will engage in robust discussion with each other and faculty with more than 25-years of healthcare experience. Affinity group members will also have access to governance articles and templates in a dedicated portal.
The tuition for membership in the affinity group is $2,500 to register a maximum of four people who serve as board chair, board chair-elect, vice chair or a committee chair on the same board.
