As healthcare leaders cope with turbulent times, it’s essential to have physician board members assist with decision-making on things like action prioritization, merger and acquisition activity and social determinants of health.
The webinar Maximizing Contributions of Physician Board Members scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. EST Oct. 17 will help leaders explore strategic areas where physician expertise and guidance is essential, including: Quality and safety efforts, disruptive physician cases, medical staff credentials issues, and medical policy. Those who join will also exchange ideas about how to better orient physicians to the board and handle inherent physician independence and potential conflicts of interest.
MHA members can register an unlimited number of board members for $195 per hospital. By attending the participants may earn up to one ACHE Qualified Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.
