- MHA offices will be closed and no formal meetings will be scheduled Feb. 19 in honor of President’s Day.
- The MHA is offering its popular Healthcare Leadership Academy program March 13-15 and May 1-2. Physicians, nurses and other rising leaders who wish to strengthen their leadership skills are encouraged to register for the MHA Healthcare Leadership Academy. Registration includes both the March and May module dates.
- The AHA’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity (IFDHE) recently launched their 2024 Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Survey. Hospitals and health systems are encouraged to participate in this biennial survey, which provides a snapshot of hospitals’ and health systems’ efforts, successes and challenges in diversity, equity and inclusion. To ensure the survey captures these critical variations and provides actionable insights, the AHA is asking that each hospital to complete the survey independently. This approach will allow them to understand the specific challenges and successes of DEI initiatives as they occur on the ground. The survey will be open until March 29, 2024.
