Superior Health Completes QIN-QIO Enrollment Phase

The Superior Health Quality Alliance (Superior Health) recently completed the enrollment phase for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Quality Innovation Network-Quality Improvement Organization (QIN-QIO) five-year program. A total of 3,472 facilities across the region are enrolled in the program, including 623 in Michigan.

Superior Health met all CMS enrollment targets across the following care settings:

  • 567 hospitals, including 83 in Michigan.
  • 1,644 nursing homes, including 226 in Michigan.
  • 1,261 outpatient clinics, including 314 in Michigan.

Superior Health appreciates the participating facilities for their commitment to quality improvement and better health outcomes for the patients and communities they serve.

Enrolled facilities are encouraged to complete the following assessments:

  • Provider Assessment
  • Advancing Healthcare Quality through Technology assessment

The assessments help establish priorities and guide improvement activities throughout the program. Questions regarding assessments or participation can be directed to Superior Health.

Facilities that recently received an enforcement letter requiring a directed plan of correction from a state or federal survey agency and are seeking support and corrective assistance from Superior Health should complete the Directed Plans of Correction Support Request Form.

Although enrollment in the current QIN-QIO program is closed, interested organizations are encouraged to complete the Support Request Form to receive future newsletters and updates from Superior Health.

Superior Health will continue working with healthcare providers across six states in Region 4 to advance quality, safety and patient-centered care.
