The article highlighted the MHA’s AI Framework for Healthcare and its emphasis on transparency, safety, regulatory compliance and fairness to ensure AI supports clinical decision-making, alleviates administrative burden and strengthens trust in the healthcare system.
A July 10 Becker’s Hospital Review story featured Lauren LaPine-Ray, DrPH, MPH, vice president, policy and rural health, MHA, and executive director, MHA Center of Rural Excellence, discussing the contributing factors leading to rural hospital closures and the vital role rural hospitals play in their communities.
A separate Becker’s article on the cyclospora outbreak included comments from the MHA providing context on the number of cases and highlighting the steps hospitals are taking to protect patients and staff while public health officials continue their investigation.
