In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, McKenzie Health System is making breast cancer screening more accessible by offering $55 3D mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women throughout October.
The special promotion provides an opportunity for women who may otherwise delay routine screening because of cost or lack of insurance coverage to receive advanced breast imaging close to home.

“Cost should not be the reason someone puts off an important screening,” said Jay Smith, Director of Cardiopulmonary and Diagnostic Imaging at McKenzie Health System. “Throughout October, we want to make it easier for women in our community to prioritize their breast health while providing them access to the same advanced technology and experienced team available to our patients year-round.”
McKenzie Health System offers 3D mammography, with advanced breast imaging and diagnostic capabilities. These include ProFound AI® technology for enhanced detection, Contrast Enhanced Spectral Mammography (CESM), ultrasound-guided breast biopsies, and additional diagnostic imaging services.
McKenzie’s mammography services are also accredited by the American College of Radiology® (ACR®), reflecting the health system’s commitment to meeting rigorous standards for image quality, equipment, personnel qualifications and patient safety.
No referral is needed to schedule a screening mammogram at McKenzie Health System. The $55 promotional rate is available throughout October for uninsured and underinsured women.
