Community Health Impact: Advancing Health Through Housing and Collaboration

As a convener and connector, the MHA fosters partnerships and collaborative opportunities that strengthen community efforts to improve the health and well-being of all Michiganders.

The Michigan Coalition Against Homelessness (MCAH) advances this work through its Bridges to Belonging initiative, a statewide collaborative that brings together partners from housing, healthcare, education, faith communities, public safety, government and legal services, along with individuals with lived experience. Bridges to Belonging creates opportunities for multidisciplinary dialogue and action to help build Michigan where everyone has a safe, stable place to call home.

Members are encouraged to join the collaboration calls to share emerging issues, promising practices and strategies that support housing stability and community well-being.

MCAH also offers training opportunities that support professional development and collaboration, which upcoming sessions include:

These learning and networking opportunities help equip community leaders with the knowledge, relationships and tools needed to strengthen communities across Michigan.

Members are encouraged to learn more, register for trainings or join the Bridges to Belonging collaboration calls by visiting mihomeless.org.

Members with questions may contact Ewa Panetta at the MHA.
