The Michigan Mental Health Diversion Council’s three-part Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) webinar series continues this fall with two remaining virtual sessions. The series, which began Sept. 18, is facilitated by the Center for Behavioral Health and Justice, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan and examines legal, clinical and court-related aspects of AOT.

The upcoming sessions are scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon:

• Oct. 16: Testimony in AOT Cases – Who Testifies, What Matters, and How to Prepare
• Oc.t 20: On the Horizon – Potential Updates to Court Practices: Testimony, Diversion and Timelines

Registration is required. Each session costs $35 per person and offers two continuing education hours for eligible participants.

Members are encouraged to attend, particularly medical and clinical directors, adult mental health service leaders, court liaisons and hospital staff involved in behavioral healthcare coordination and crisis services.
