The MHA is accepting nominations for the 2026 Advancing Safe Care Award, which recognizes organizations leading efforts to prevent workplace violence and improve employee safety.
The award recognizes teams that achieve measurable improvements in safety outcomes, while fostering a culture of continuous learning, transparency and shared accountability. Nominees are evaluated on their use of data-driven strategies to reduce workplace violence risks, strengthen prevention and response efforts, encourage open communication about safety concerns and advance both physical and psychological safety for the workplace.
Nominations for the 2026 Advancing Safe Care Award will be accepted through Aug. 14, 2026.
The award recipient will be recognized at the MHA Keystone Center Safety & Quality Symposium on Oct. 14 in Lansing.
