House Proposes Medicaid Expansion, Reforms
Last week, state Rep. Matt Lori (R-Constantine) introduced House Bill 4714, legislation that would expand Medicaid eligibility to 133 percent of federal poverty level under the Affordable Care Act while adopting reforms for newly eligible beneficiaries. The association recognizes that this legislation is the starting point for developing reforms that meet federal laws and achieve meaningful expansion of coverage.
