The pandemic has demonstrated that it is time for hospitals to pay more attention to supply chain and materials management. Although they may be seen as mundane, supply chains support the clinical and patient safety excellence hospitals strive for. As part of the MHA’s virtual leadership series, Mark Graban will share best practices from his experience with a world-class supply chain in the computer industry and from leading supply chain in health systems. This webinar will be presented from noon to 1 p.m. June 17.
Continuing the series, Nicole Lipkin will describe how to lead through post-traumatic stress disorder following the height of the pandemic in a webinar offered from noon to 1 p.m. July 15. Lipkin has worked with the American Academy of Osteopathic Surgeons and global companies like Honda and Visa. She will explore behaviors and practices that increase organizational and individual resilience and emotional sustainability.
Participants may earn up to one American College of Healthcare Executives Qualified Education Hour for each of the remaining three sessions of the series toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives designation.
Members can register for a single webinar for $50, and a health system can register for an unlimited number of logins to a single webinar for a flat-rate fee of $200. A recording of the June 3 webinar on diversity and inclusion featuring Kim Blue, global head of People Experience Partners at Zoom, is available through June 30 for participants in the session. Participants in the remaining sessions will have access to those recordings for four weeks following each webinar. Questions about the webinar series should be directed to Erin Steward at the MHA.
