Webinars Explore Leadership and Strategy During COVID-19 Pandemic

An unforeseen fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic is a perceived lack of leadership. In times of crisis, leaders who acknowledge that failure is not fatal and success is not final demonstrate strength and courage. The MHA webinar series Leadership and Resiliency: Navigating Through and Beyond COVID-19, explores several mission-critical qualities that leaders need to help traverse this difficult time.

The series studies six topics in sessions scheduled from June through September; each session will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. ET. Bite-size Coping Techniques During Times of Uncertainty will be June 25, presented by Bryan Sexton, PhD, workforce resilience expert and long-time resiliency trainer for the MHA. The session Update on Coronavirus: What’s Next and How to Plan will be presented July 9 by Marty Makary, MD, Johns Hopkins surgeon and transparency guru. Other webinars cover post-COVID-19 healthcare strategy, tackling COVID-19 disparities, and future delivery models.

Members can register for a single webinar for $99 or for all six webinars at a discounted rate of $500. Questions about the webinar series should be directed to Erin Steward at the MHA.
