The MHA Health Foundation is partnering with the Georgia Hospital Association to offer the webinar Restraint, Seclusion, Ligature and Suicide Risks: Complying with Requirements from 10 a.m. to noon May 13.
Registrants will hear about the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements for a patient in restraint and/or seclusion, the CMS education requirements for physicians and others who order restraints, specific items the CMS requires to be documented in the medical record for the one-hour face-to-face evaluation on patients who are violent and/or self-destructive, and more.
MHA-member organizations can purchase an unlimited number of logins to the session for $195. Additional information and registration are available online, and members with questions may contact Erica Leyko at the MHA.
