A program developed by the American Hospital Association is being offered in partnership with the MHA to help physicians and other clinicians process the emotional toll and loss of normalcy created by the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and create resilience and stronger bonds with team members and others. A Pathway to Greater Personal Well-Being and Resilience for the Leader Within is a three-day retreat where participants will form new skills, patterns and rituals that intentionally create equilibrium between the competing dimensions of their lives.
Originally planned for May, the retreat is rescheduled for Sept. 21 through 23 at The Homestead in Glen Arbor. This program offers a maximum of 24.5 AMA PRA Category 1 credits. Fees include three days of meals, lodging and intensive coaching and skill development. Registration and details about the retreat are available online. Members with questions should contact Gary Roth, DO, at the MHA.
