Upcoming events and important healthcare news for the week of March 16:

  • The MHA prioritizes the safety of its members and staff. The association is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and will adjust its in-person events appropriately in response to this rapidly changing situation. Contact the event organizer or the MHA with questions about upcoming events.
  • The MHA Health Information Technology Strategy Committee will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday. The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology’s final rule on the Cures Act, which regulates the interoperability of healthcare data, will be discussed.   • The MHA Council on Children’s Health will meet from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday. The Children’s Health Council will discuss COVID-19, rapid Whole Genome Sequencing for critically ill infants, and behavioral health efforts for the pediatric population.
