- Due to weather-related cancellations, the Michigan Legislature did not meet Feb. 2 and 3 and no action was taken on healthcare-related bills. The MHA is hopeful further action will occur on House Bill 5523 when the Legislature returns to session. If the bill becomes law, it will approve funding for critical staffing resources to hospitals and other healthcare providers. For more information, contact Adam Carlson at the MHA.
