High Reliability Leads to Safe Work Environment

Creating a highly reliable hospital requires a commitment to a just culture, continuous learning and designing care improvement. The webinar High Reliability in the Time of COVID-19, scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. EDT June 24, will review high reliability principles proven to reduce errors, improve outcomes and build a safer work environment. It also will provide suggestions on how participants can support their hospitals on their high reliability journey.

Any member registering for High Reliability in the Time of COVID-19 will have access to a recording of the webinar Timesaving Approaches to QI Tools that was held May 20. This was the first webinar in the two-part series on quality improvement and outlined approaches for applying quality improvement analysis tools like failure modes and effect analysis, root cause analysis and process mapping, as well as ways to collect and assess data that save time.

Members may register for an unlimited number of logins for High Reliability in the Time of COVID-19 for a connection fee of $195 per hospital. Questions about webinar series should be directed to Erin Steward at the MHA.
