DESCRIPTION:Business Continuity and Resilience Tabletop Exercise for Rural Leaders \nThe Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA) and Scheurer Health will host a two-hour business continuity and resilience tabletop exercise in person from 10 a.m. to Noon\, ET\, August 25 at the Pigeon Event Center\, MI. This event is designed specifically for rural hospital executive leaders. This interactive session explores how leadership teams make decisions during a realistic cybersecurity incident—focusing not on IT details\, but on hospital operations\, patient care and organizational stability. \nWe’ll be joined by Andy Brush from Michigan Medicine\, Tarek Sasy from the Michigan State Police Cyber Command Center (MC3)\, Matthew Schwieger\, FBI Detroit Intel Analyst and our partners from CyberForce|Q. \nParticipants will walk through real-world challenges related to operational continuity\, risk management and internal and external communication\, gaining insight into how leadership actions shape outcomes during stressful situations. \nSeating is limited. DESCRIPTION:The Michigan Alliance for Innovation on Maternal Health (MI AIM) is pleased to announce the MI AIM Regional Training Sessions\, designed for inpatient maternal healthcare providers\, maternal health quality improvement leaders and MI AIM participants. \nParticipants will: \n• Explore Michigan maternal mortality and hypertension data trends \n• Learn how to use hospital and regional data to drive quality improvement \n• Participate in interactive hypertension case reviews and small-group discussions \n• Network with peers and share implementation strategies across hospitals \n• Review the PSUD patient safety bundle and hear real-world implementation experiences from Michigan hospitals. \nThe day includes breakfast\, lunch\, networking opportunities\, interactive activities and expert-led discussions featuring regional data insights and actionable tools hospitals can take back to their teams. \nPlease note: Region 1 will feature a slightly modified agenda tailored to regional priorities and participant needs. \nSessions run from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM at regional locations across Michigan. \nSteps to Register \n1.
