The Michigan Health & Hospital Association is disappointed with the governor’s line-item vetoes in the fiscal year 2020 budget for the state Department of Health and Human Services.
The Michigan Health & Hospital Association fully supports the fiscal year 2020 legislative budget that will make key strides in protecting and improving access and quality of care for Michigan residents.

State Treasurer Nick Khouri and the directors of the House and Senate fiscal agencies met May 16 for the Consensus Revenue Estimating Conference, during which the latest state revenue projections were officially presented.
The Michigan Senate approved Senate Bill (SB) 897 in a 26-11 vote held April 19. The legislation would institute work requirements for Medicaid recipients in Michigan, including individuals enrolled in the Healthy Michigan Plan.
