Initial bill introductions in the new state Legislature have placed an early focus on auto no-fault insurance reform.
The MHA is urging its members to contact their state legislators and ask them to vote no on any effort to dismantle Michigan’s auto no-fault insurance law in the final days of the lame-duck session.
The Legislature has one week remaining in its legislative schedule for 2018. More than 250 bills have passed from the House or Senate chamber in the first three weeks of action, marking an increase in activity compared to past end-of-year sessions.
