Strategies for Being Mindful in Clinical Practice Reviewed in MHA Webinar

Mindfulness in clinical practice has been described as an in-the-moment awareness of performance and its cognitive underpinnings, combined with a nonjudgmental acceptance of emotions and thoughts that can influence performance. Greater awareness and less distraction in a clinical setting can improve assessment skills and performance of technical procedures that may reduce the risk of clinical errors.

The webinar is scheduled from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 10, and members can register for a connection fee of $195. Members with questions should contact Erica Leyko at the MHA.
