As Michigan hospitals care for a third surge of COVID-19 patients, the MHA has been actively fielding and responding to media requests related to the increase in infections and hospitalizations over the past month.

The MHA issued a statement on behalf of the chief medical officers of Michigan's community hospitals that urgers Michigan residents to vaccinate as COVID-19 pediatric cases rise.

Below is a collection of headlines from around the state that include statements from the MHA.

Friday, April 16

Thursday, April 15

Wednesday, April 14

Tuesday, April 13

Monday, April 12

Members with questions on COVID-19 efforts and resources should contact Ruthanne Sudderth, and any questions regarding media requests should be directed to John Karasinski at the MHA.
