MHA CEO Brian PetersCOVID-19 does not discriminate and continues to hospitalize patients across our state. Whether public health guidance and mandates are made through executive order or legislation, from county health departments or private business policies and protocols, all Michiganders must continue to be extremely vigilant about following COVID-19 prevention guidance, which includes masking, physical distancing, washing hands frequently and receiving flu vaccines. For nearly seven months our healthcare workers have been putting themselves at risk on the front lines of this pandemic to save lives. We owe it to our healthcare heroes, to those who have already been impacted by COVID-19 and to our most vulnerable residents to work together to protect Michigan.
