News to Know – Week of June 22

Posted on June 19, 2020

Important healthcare news for the week of June 22:

  • State licenses for health facilities, agencies and substance use disorder services programs expire July 31, and the 2020-2021 renewal cycle is open through the eLicense portal. The renewal process for a state license requires a credit card or electronic check for payment of the licensing fees and takes approximately three weeks from the point of payment until the paper copy of the license is received through the mail. Renewal plans should ensure that the paper copy of the license is received prior to the expiration date. For more information, contact the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems, State Licensing Section at (517) 241-1970. Members with questions should contact Paige Fults at the MHA.
