Posted on February 27, 2020

The MHA Keystone Center Patient Safety Organization (PSO) brings together hospitals and safety experts for its annual meeting March 11 at the VisTaTech Center, Livonia. The event fosters peer learning and provides the opportunity to learn about the implementation of best practices in healthcare.

This year’s event will feature nationally renowned speaker Allan Frankel, MD, managing partner, Safe & Reliable Healthcare. Frankel is a globally recognized high-reliability expert who has assessed more than 500 organizations and trained and certified more than 3,000 healthcare leaders. His presentation will focus on the influence of attitude and perceptions on quality and experience of care and the 2019 SCORE culture survey results. Attendees will also learn about safer health information technology through partnerships, how to prevent clinician burnout, ways to handle alarm fatigue and maternal health. A detailed agenda is available.

Registration for the MHA Keystone Center PSO Annual Meeting is free and open to all MHA Keystone Center PSO members. A virtual option is available for those unable to attend in person. Continuing education opportunities will be available for nursing and risk managers. For more information on the event, contact the MHA Keystone Center PSO.
