The Michigan Healthcare Human Resources Conference, scheduled for March 26 at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development in Lansing, is a great opportunity to network and learn about the latest issues and trends facing human resources professionals.

Michigan Healthcare Human Resources ConferenceThis annual event is sponsored by the MHA Unemployment Compensation Program and the Michigan Healthcare Human Resources Association. Attendance at the conference will benefit a cross-section of professionals, from those new to human resources to seasoned veterans in the field. Dave Moss, senior consultant, Arbinger Institute, Farmington, UT, will open this year’s conference with a presentation about performance management and how to develop accountable people, followed by a legal update from the Miller Johnson law firm. A new format for this year’s conference will enhance the conference’s education, interaction and constructive networking. The afternoon will offer a series of short presentations covering an array of topics challenging human resource professionals. These sessions will include an interactive time of questions and answers with the speakers and small-group discussions with peers.
