MHA Health Foundation Webinar Reviews Medicare and Medicaid Overpayments

Posted on January 22, 2020

Overpayments to healthcare providers receiving Medicare reimbursements can result in civil and criminal enforcement action if providers are not diligent in compliance with reimbursement rule requirements. Healthcare providers cannot keep money paid in error and should be prepared to voluntarily return overpayments to the Medicare Administrative Contractor, Office of Inspector General or Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) within 60 days of identification.

The MHA Health Foundation webinar Medicare and Medicaid Overpayments and Self-Disclosure Guidelines will help attendees ensure they are compliant with overpayment and self-disclosure guidelines and much more.

The webinar is scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m. Feb. 26, and MHA members can register for a $195 connection fee. Members with questions should contact Erica Leyko at the MHA.
