Upcoming events and important healthcare news for the week of Dec. 9:

  • The Hospital Affiliated Legislative Officers will meet from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the MHA Capitol Advocacy Center, Lansing.  
     
  • The MHA Michigan Green Healthcare Committee will meet from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at MHA headquarters, Okemos.
     
  • The Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Innovation Improvement Network (GLPP HIIN) Webinar Series – Advancing the Work of Diversity, Inclusion and Cultural Competence to Achieve Health Equity Webinar 2 will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday.  
     
  • The MHA will host a webinar from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Jan. 22 with representatives from consulting firm Comprehensive Reimbursement Inc. The webinar will review the 2019 Medicare occupational mix survey.
