AHA Health Plan Survey Will Support Healthcare Advocacy

Posted on August 20, 2019

The American Hospital Association (AHA) recently released a survey to obtain information from hospitals and health systems regarding their experience with health plan utilization management programs and network adequacy issues. The AHA intends to use this information to support its federal advocacy efforts with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Congress. A hospital-specific link to the survey was emailed to hospitals from AHA Survey Support with a request to complete it by Aug. 30.

The MHA encourages hospitals and health systems to complete the survey by the deadline. Questions regarding the survey should be directed to AHA Survey Support. Members with other questions should contact Jason Jorkasky at the MHA.
