  • The MHA Keystone Center: Spreading Success to Reduce ED Recidivism and Hospital Readmissions event will take place from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Detroit Marriott Livonia. Attendees will learn about an innovative initiative that was originally launched by Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL. The initiative delivered substantial reductions in readmissions, emergency department recidivism and unnecessary admissions. For more information, contact the MHA Keystone Center.
     
  • The MHA Health Foundation webinar EPA Subpart P – What You Need to Know will take place from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The webinar will review recently passed Environmental Protection Agency regulations that will affect healthcare facilities where pharmaceuticals are administered and sold.   • The Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network webinar Managing a Successful Antimicrobial Stewardship Team will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday. The webinar will identify key personnel who can help lead a hospital’s antimicrobial stewardship program, outline metrics for a wide variety of hospital settings, and discuss details surrounding the National Healthcare Safety Network Antimicrobial Use and Resistance Module. For more information, contact the MHA Keystone Center.
