News to Know - Week of April 1

Upcoming events and important healthcare news for the week of April 1:

  • Resources are available to help Michigan residents and healthcare providers respond to the multicounty measles outbreak that is continuing to spread in the state. As of March 26, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has confirmed 22 measles cases statewide since March 13. Oakland County has 21 cases and one case was a Wayne County resident. The MDHHS has released resources and vaccine information for healthcare providers and Michigan residents on its website. Additional information will be distributed to MHA members in the coming weeks.
  • The GLPP HIIN Mapping Medicare Disparities Tool Webinar that was scheduled for Thursday has been canceled. For more information, contact the MHA Keystone Center.
