Last Chance to Register for Energy Reduction Competition

Posted on March 22, 2019

Michigan Battle of the BuildingsThe MHA and its Michigan Green Healthcare Committee encourage hospitals and health systems to support the Michigan Battle of the Buildings, a free energy-reduction competition that is an easy way to identify energy-efficient practices and improve the environmental footprint of healthcare facilities. The deadline to enroll is March 31.

Participants in the competition must report their energy consumption using Energy Star's Portfolio Manager. Data entries will be accepted throughout the campaign, which ends Dec. 31. Buildings that demonstrate the highest percentage-based reduction in energy use in 2019 will be recognized at the 2020 Energy Summit in Grand Rapids.

Review the campaign materials for more information and enroll now. Contact Kristen Hammock at the MHA if you have questions.
