Upcoming events and important healthcare news for the week of March 4:
- The MHA will host workplace safety training, Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM®), at several locations this week.
- The webinar Social Determinants of Health (SDOH): From Screening to Action will be offered from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday.
- The MHA Keystone Center Patient Safety Organization (PSO) Annual Meeting will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Henry Autograph Collection, Dearborn, with a virtual option available.
- Part 2 of the three-part MHA Health Foundation webinar series on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) 2019 Conditions of Participation for Hospitals will take place from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday.
- The state Office of Regulatory Reinvention (ORR) is revising the rules for licensing health facilities and agencies to develop a single, updated rule set to replace the current six rule sets. On Feb. 21, the ORR approved the draft Licensure Rules for Hospitals and Other Health Facilities.
