MHA Breakthrough Examined Healthcare Disruption, Business Strategy

Chief executive officers and senior leaders from across the state attended Breakthrough Feb. 21 and 22 to dialogue about disruption in healthcare and how to design and launch a business strategy that results in better outcomes and less cost.
Topics covered during the event included the hospital-at-home care model, partnerships to improve patient care equity, addiction treatment and workplace safety. Keynote speaker David Morlock, senior banker at Cain Brothers healthcare investment bank, outlined the effect of seismic mergers and acquisitions, the shifting market power among competitors, and strategies providers can take.
