Register by March 1 for MHA Keystone Center PSO Annual Meeting

March 1 is the deadline to register for the MHA Keystone Center Patient Safety Organization (PSO) Annual Meeting. The event is scheduled for March 6 at The Henry Autograph Collection, Dearborn, and will discuss workplace safety, diagnostic errors, safety culture and burnout.

Attendees will learn why it’s essential to report data, the importance of building and sustaining a systemwide culture of safety, how to keep oneself and colleagues safe from workplace violence, and various trends in diagnostic error and mitigation strategies. The event is exclusive to MHA Keystone Center PSO members, and continuing education opportunities will be available for nursing and risk managers.

Nationally recognized speaker Monica Cooke, RNC, MA, CPHQ, CPHRM, FASHRM, chief executive officer, Quality Plus Solutions, LLC, will discuss a collaborative approach to workplace safety. Attendees will also hear from peers on the importance of speaking up to prevent harm.

Registration for the meeting is free and available via the MHA Member Portal for either in-person or virtual attendance. Members with questions should contact the MHA Keystone Center PSO.
