Bridge Magazine: The real state of no-fault auto insurance: Reform within reach for Michigan

Michigan's Auto No-Fault SystemChris Mitchell, the MHA’s executive vice president, advocacy & public affairs, spoke with Bridge Magazine about the latest efforts to reform Michigan’s auto no-fault insurance program in the 2019-2020 legislative session.

The MHA is looking forward to working with elected officials in 2019 on meaningful reforms that address Michigan drivers’ concerns and protect accident survivors’ access to care.

“This is a big problem and no one you will talk to will deny that. But the solution has been placed on the backs of healthcare and we have so many problems with that, and we will continue to encourage individuals to expand the debate to a larger subset of issues,” he said.
