The MHA sponsored the broadcast, which was hosted this year in the downtown Lansing offices of the Talent and Economic Development Department of Michigan.

As part of the program lineup, Smith spoke with MHA Executive Vice President for Advocacy and Public Affairs Chris Mitchell about a host of different topics, ranging from the 2018 election and the incoming class of elected officials to the ongoing effort to battle the opioid crisis. Other notable interviewees during the event included Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Michigan State University men’s basketball coach Tom Izzo and Farm Bureau Insurance CEO Don Simon.

As a sponsor of the event, the MHA developed a 30-second message for airing before and during the broadcast. For more information, contact Laura Wotruba at the MHA.
