Time Running Out to Enroll in Healthcare Leadership Academy

Posted on January 25, 2019

Healthcare Leadership Academy brochure coverFeb. 11 is the deadline to enroll in the Healthcare Leadership Academy: Business Strategy for a Changing Landscape. This leadership program is for existing and emerging healthcare leaders, including physicians and clinicians. The academy is timely, considering such factors as a shift from the autonomous practice of medicine to clinical coordination, patients using quality and price transparency websites to assess treatment options, and the financial risk and incentives providers are assuming for managing patient populations.

The program focuses on how today’s executives are adapting to a radically changing environment; developing participants’ knowledge of value-driven care delivery and financing models, skills and methods required to lead teams and projects; helping participants understand their leadership strengths and weaknesses; and coaching to expand their skills.

The academy is scheduled for Feb. 22 and 23 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa, Acme, and March 18 through 20 at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development, Lansing. Details about the modules, faculty and registration are available online. Members with questions should contact Erin Steward at the MHA.
