Breakthrough Explores Creation of a High-performing Workforce

Posted on December 13, 2018

Breakthrough animated logoAs hospitals shift from inpatient to outpatient volume, automate workflow and seek skill sets outside of traditional healthcare professions, leaders must prepare workforce strategies that are forward-thinking, consumer-centric, flexible and innovative. Breakthrough includes a plenary session designed to help leaders prepare a modern workforce strategy to include translating business forecast into talent demand; identifying skills increasingly needed, but challenging to find; pinpointing talent gaps and risks using data; and reframing questions to challenge assumptions.

A special networking “fire & ice” reception that includes an outdoor bonfire and a themed menu of winter cocktails and bite-sized indulgences is a prime opportunity to continue the conversation generated during the day’s education sessions and talk to colleagues one-on-one in a relaxed atmosphere.

Breakthrough is Feb. 21 and 22 at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa. Registration is open and sponsorship is being accepted. Questions regarding Breakthrough should be directed to Erin Steward at the MHA. Those requiring assistance with registration should contact Erica Leyko at the MHA.
