News to Know - Week of Nov. 19

Posted on November 17, 2018

Upcoming events and important healthcare news for the week of Nov. 19:

  • MHA offices will be closed Nov. 22 and 23 in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday. The MHA Monday Report will not be published Nov. 26, and the next edition will be dated Dec. 3. However, articles and information will be posted to the MHA Newsroom regularly in the interim. Enjoy a happy and healthy holiday!

  • The MHA Board of Trustees will meet from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at MHA headquarters in Okemos. The board will discuss the outcomes and implications of the 2018 election and the no-fault auto insurance program. For more information, contact David Seaman at the MHA.

  • Dozens of people have been killed in the recent wildfires in California and hundreds of others are missing. Countless acres of property, both populated and vacant, have been destroyed. Some hospitals have been directly in the unpredictable path of the infernos. Those who wish to help can contribute to funds that have been set up to support hospital employees who have been affected by the fires while working to assist others.  ‚Äč
