Posted on September 06, 2018

Michigan Green Healthcare CommitteeThe registration fee for the 2018 MHA Michigan Green Healthcare Conference will increase after Sept. 6, so take the opportunity to register now. A tour of Mercy Health Saint Mary’s environmentally sustainable campus in Grand Rapids is offered Oct. 9, and the Oct. 10 full-day conference will take place at the Grand Valley State University Eberhard Center.

Attendees will join the conversation on how conserving energy, reducing waste, and offering healthier and locally sourced food is increasing the quality of care and lowering costs for patients. Industry leaders will discuss how healthcare facilities, health professionals, governmental agencies and partner organizations are greening the healthcare sector to save money, improve human health and protect natural resources.

Hotel room reservations should be made on or before Sept. 18 to ensure the discounted room rate. Any reservations made after this date will be based on availability. Book online and use the block code MHA or call the Holiday Inn Grand Rapids Downtown directly at (616) 235-7611 to reserve your room and mention the Michigan Health & Hospital Association.

Questions about this event should be directed to Andrea Duguay or Kristen Cavanagh-Strong at the MHA.
