Upcoming events and important healthcare news for the week of June 4:

  • The MHA Keystone Center Patient Safety Organization Peer Support in Healthcare webinar will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday. The webinar will discuss burnout among healthcare staff, how it is affecting patient care, and how to combat the growing epidemic through peer support and cultural change. For more information, contact the MHA Keystone Center PSO.
     
  • The MHA Council on Children’s Health will meet from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at MHA headquarters, Okemos. Participants will receive a federal advocacy update from the Children’s Hospital Association and an overview of the updated mission and vision of the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation.
