Registration Now Open for MHA Keystone Center Spring Workshop

Registration is now open for the MHA Keystone Center’s annual Spring Workshop. This year’s event, Preventing Harm Across the Board, will allow members to learn in an interactive, didactic environment on a variety of topics, including adverse drug events, venous thromboembolism, pressure injuries and falls.
The MHA Keystone Center and the Joint Commission Center for Transforming Healthcare encourage all Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network hospitals to send representatives, ideally including members of the leadership and safety and quality teams, to this highly interactive workshop
The event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 17 at The Henry, Dearborn. On-site registration and breakfast will be available from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
Featured speaker, Steven Muething, MD, co-director, James M. Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center; professor of pediatrics, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, will discuss his improvement work and research, which focuses on high-reliability culture.
Attendees will leave the full-day event with actionable items to share with colleagues to continue enacting change and improvement within their organizations.
There is a $50 fee to attend the workshop, which will cover the cost of food and beverage. Hotel reservations at The Henry must be received before March 26.
