News to Know

Upcoming events and important healthcare news for the week of Jan. 29:

  • A legislative package was signed into law in late December to combat opioid use, addiction and overdose. Public Act 246 of 2017 requires the use of a Start Talking Consent Form. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services is creating the form and estimates it will be available to the healthcare community in May.
