Crain’s Detroit Business: Michigan House hands Duggan big defeat on auto insurance reform

The MHA was among the organizations opposing House Bill (HB) 5013 in a Nov. 2 Crain’s Detroit Business article about the defeat of the auto no-fault bill.

The article quotes ads from the MHA that aimed to raise awareness that the bill failed to protect drivers and patients and would have had a significant negative impact on Michigan residents.  

HB 5013 was defeated 45-63 in the Michigan House of Representatives late in the evening of Nov. 2.  It would have made drastic changes to Michigan’s auto no-fault insurance system, with serious implications for those injured in auto accidents and providers.
