Great Lakes Partners for Patients Hospital Improvement Innovation Network Critical Care Simulation

Thursday, October 18, 2018

The MHA Keystone Center will host a critical care simulation at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, Kalamazoo to teach members how to drive improvement in ventilator-associated events, delirium and readmissions.

The hands-on simulations will demonstrate appropriate assessments for the A-F bundle, including pain, agitation and delirium, how to safely mobilize a critical ill patient and improving interdisciplinary rounds.

Each simulation is approximately four hours in length. Members can register for a morning session (8 a.m. to noon) or afternoon session (1 to 5 p.m.)

Due to an overwhelming response, the MHA Keystone Center is no longer accepting registrations for the Oct. 18 simulation. Contact to be added to the wait list, and we will contact you if a spot becomes available.

There are also critical care simulations being offered Oct. 2 at Central Michigan University College of Medicine, Covenant Healthcare Simulation Center, Saginaw and Oct. 30 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor
